Changelog

What we shipped

Every update to MuChat, newest first.

  1. New

Conversions, sequences from flows, and workspaces

    • Conversion events: record purchases, bookings and sign-ups from a flow step, a contact’s profile or the API, with values per currency and last-touch credit.
    • Start sequence and Stop sequence in the Flow Builder’s action step — and people who finished a sequence can go through it again.
    • Several workspaces under one login, with a switcher; invites land teammates in your workspace, and clones open straight away.
    • In-app notifications: a bell with unread counts, a Notifications page, and per-person preferences.
    • Plans now include active contacts; over the limit, new conversations still come in while imports and manual adds pause.
    • Templates can start from the next post or reel you publish.
  2. Improved

Fields from flows, and tags that stay in sync

    • Set a field from a flow’s action step — up to 5 per step, for the contact or for your whole account.
    • Bot fields now work in messages, button labels and sequences, using the same {{key}} tokens as contact fields.
    • Renaming, merging or deleting a tag now updates your segments, routing rules and automations too, and shows what it will change first.
  3. New

    A fuller inbox

    • Notes for your team, right in the thread — never sent to the contact.
    • Remind me: snooze a conversation until later; it comes back sooner if they message you.
    • Pause automation for one conversation while you handle it yourself.
    • Favorites, mark as unread, system messages you can hide, and a contact panel beside the thread.
    • Reactions and attachments now show in conversations.
  4. New

    Routing rules, sequences and personalisation

    • Inbox routing: assignment groups, ordered rules that send conversations to the right group, and per-person conversation limits.
    • Sequences: timed follow-up messages that only send inside Instagram’s 24-hour window.
    • Personalisation tokens such as first name and @username in messages and button labels.
    • Several triggers on one automation, draft and published versions with history and restore, and per-step stats.
    • Insights, user and bot fields, tag rename and merge, API keys and a REST API, and exporting or cloning your automations.
  5. New

    Randomizer and Start automation blocks

    • Randomizer: split people across 2 to 5 weighted paths to compare two versions of a message or offer.
    • Start automation: hand a conversation from one automation to another.
  6. New

    A full website

    • Product pages for Instagram, the Flow Builder, the shared inbox and contacts.
    • A public template gallery: every automation template, with its trigger, steps and a preview conversation.
    • Solutions for creators, eCommerce, coaches and agencies, plus guides to the problems MuChat solves.
    • A help center with step-by-step guides, and a full plan comparison on the pricing page.
  7. Improved

Blog, email sign-in and inbox auto-close

    • Sign-in links now arrive by email.
    • Conversations that have gone quiet close automatically, on the schedule you pick in Settings → Inbox behaviour.
    • The MuChat blog: guides and playbooks for selling in the DMs.
  8. New

MuChat, the Flow Builder and templates

    • A new name and look: MuChat.
    • The Flow Builder: message, condition, delay, action and note blocks on a canvas, with delays that run on schedule and checks before you publish.
    • A templates gallery with goal and trigger filters, a guided setup, and six Flow Builder templates.
    • Automations: trigger and status filters, folders, bulk actions, a grid view and a trash you can restore from.
    • Contacts: rule-based segments, a filter bar, CSV import and custom fields.
    • Inbox: labels, assignment with round-robin, search and filters, and quick replies.
    • “The next post or reel you publish” now attaches to the first post that gets a matching comment.
  9. Launch

    First version

    • Sign up with an email link or Google, connect an Instagram professional account, and answer a few onboarding questions.
    • Automations triggered by comments, DM keywords, story replies, or any DM, with an opening message, follow gate and tracked links.
    • A shared inbox, contacts, settings, and a free trial on paid plans.
