The business case
A freebie that costs a follow pays for itself twice: you get the lead and you get a follower who sees everything you post next. The loop means nobody falls out of the flow just because they weren't following yet.
The flow DMs the commenter a button. When they tap it, a condition step checks whether they follow you. Followers get the download; everyone else gets asked to follow, and their "I'm following" tap runs the check again.

Replies publicly under the comment, e.g. “Check your DMs 💌”

After they tap “Send me the link”: Checks whether they follow you

If yes: Sends: “You're in! Here's your guide 📘” with “Download the guide”

If no: Sends: “Almost there! Follow the account first, then tap below and I'll unlock it 🔓” with “I'm following”
- 1. Which post or reel to use — one you pick, all of them, or the next one you publish
- 2. Which words start it — specific keywords, or any comment
- 3. What they get — your message and link buttons
Every message, button and keyword is editable before you go live, and you can add or rewire steps in the Flow Builder.
